We offer an excellent Modern Language program, both in French and Spanish. Consistent communication in the target language is essential to success in language courses. We encourage students and their families to try to use the target language outside of class on a regualr basis. Please contact the teacher for ideas!

What a revelation for students to realize that they can be understood in French or Spanish outside the classroom by someone other than their teacher!
The Moderns Department of Sir William Mulock Secondary School is proud to offer many opportunities for the students to practice their language skills outside of the classroom and to learn about the culture and countries where these languages are spoken. See the list below for examples of these opportunities. Some opportunities may not be offered every year but we do endeavour to offer as many opportunities as possible. Please speak to your child's teacher or the Department Head for detailed information.
